Santa Catalina Mountains, northeast of Tucson, Arizona
“Earlier vivid hues of an Arizona sunset subside as the color’s of a winter’s dusk along the steep, layered cliffs of the Santa Catalina Mountains in southern Arizona shift to quieter rose, peach and lavender as the sun has slipped below the horizon in the west. Rolling foothills dotted with saguaro still catch last glimpses of livelier sunlight.” Darcie Peet
