“Fancyman Longhorn” was done from a photograph that I took several years ago when we were in the hill country of Texas. I called him Fancyman because I just kept making him fancy with lots of slight color and value changes and tiny spots on his hide. There were lots of bluebonnets in the photo but I opted not to use so much color because I felt that it distracted from the longhorn and his stately beauty.” Jean Chambers
