Jeremy Mann biography:

Jeremy Mann (b. 1979) is an American painter living and working in San Francisco, California. He graduated cum laudefrom Ohio University in 2002, earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts, and went on to receive his Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art University in 2008. Mann exhibits widely and is represented both nationally and internationally. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including American Art Collector, and is the subject of the documentary A Solitary Mann, directed by Loïc Zimmerman.

Mann’s figurative paintings—often centered on the female form—span generations while maintaining a singular, unmistakable style. His muted palette, combined with compositional and tonal elements reminiscent of the Old Masters, distinguishes his work within contemporary figurative painting. The figures simultaneously emerge from and dissolve into their surroundings, inviting the viewer into moments of quiet introspection, solitude, and emotional pause.
