B.R. Garvin biography:

Barbara Ruth Garvin was born on May 2, 1936.  Garvin graduated from Long Beach High School. She worked at a variety of jobs before opting to become a professional artist in 1964. She had a studio in Scottsdale, AZ before settling into a home in Carmel, CA with her husband Bill Wilcox. She had a second home in Alpine County where she was a founder of the Bear Valley Art Ass’n. Her works include floral stilllifes, animal subjects, and western genre.
