Daniel Keys Still Life fruit orange tea cup flower stillife oil painting

Daniel Keys biography:

From an early age, Daniel Keys displayed an extraordinary gift for painting. Encouraged by his parents to nurture his creative talent, and blessed with the flexibility of being home educated, Daniel devoted countless hours to developing his skills as a self-taught artist.

Growing up in a Christian home, he came to see his artistic ability as a blessing from God—a means of expressing gratitude and sharing beauty with others. This deep sense of faith continues to inspire his work, infusing each painting with warmth, light, and a quiet message of hope.

Daniel began painting at the age of eleven, using a simple paint set he purchased with his birthday money. In his early years, he discovered the work of renowned artist Richard Schmid, whose mastery of color and brushwork profoundly influenced Daniel’s development. Over time, Daniel cultivated his own signature style—radiant, expressive compositions that capture the delicate interplay of light, texture, and emotion. His still lifes and landscapes are celebrated for their luminous color, rich atmosphere, and timeless beauty.

Today, Daniel’s paintings are highly sought after by collectors and art enthusiasts across the country. Recognized as one of the leading young painters of his generation, he continues to create works that inspire peace, joy, and reflection.

Daniel lives and paints in California, surrounded by his family, whose love and encouragement remain a constant source of strength and inspiration.

As you look into the heart of his work, Daniel hopes you will see more than a beautiful image – that you will feel a quiet invitation to experience the peace, joy, and divine love that inspire every brushstroke.
