“Morning Shadows – Shoshone River” was created from a trip to northern Wyoming. I was following the Shoshone River between Cody and the entrance to Yellowstone. The early morning light creates the long shadows that give the painting its drama. I painted a small 10×12 color study while keeping an eye open for Grizzly Bears.”   Phil Starke
