Matt Smith has won the “Artists’ Choice Award” at the 20th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational. This prestigious award is given by the artist’s peers for his Invitational Body of Work. Matt was one of 50 of the nation’s top award winning artists to participate in this 9-day plein air art festival. Each invited artist painted in and around the Laguna Beach area which includes beaches, canyons, cafes and the surrounding communities. Awards were given out on Saturday, October 13, 2018.
