“Thousands of ancient ruins, the remains of civilizations we now refer to as the Anasazi or Ancestral Puebloans, are scattered throughout the Southwest. They date from approximately 700 to 1350 A.D.
For nearly forty years, I have been drawn to these sacred places, both remote and easily reached. This particular site is located in Northeastern Arizona near Kayenta, and is perched inside an enormous sandstone alcove. It was built in approximately 1275 A.D. and contained 120 rooms with a maximum population of about 150 people”. Robert Peters
