The Phippen Museum in Prescott, Arizona will host their 44th Annual Western Art Show & Sale. This Memorial Day weekend tradition begins on May 26th and runs through May 28th. Prescott’s historic courthouse plaza features many great artists set up on location to share their newest creations. Events during the weekend include visiting artist’s in their booths on the plaza, quick draw artist challenge as well as events at the Phippen Museum including their “Miniature Masterpiece Show & Sale” and an unveiling of George Phippen’s monumental bronze sculpture “Cowboy In A Storm”. Highlights from the “Miniature Masterpiece Show & Sale” include Matt Smith’s painting “The Mojave”, Bill Nebeker’s sculpture “Livin’ The Life”, Robert Peters painting “Monument Valley Majesty”, Russell Houston’s painting “Early Days Of Spring” and Trevor Swanson’s painting “Indomitable”.
